Hi
I am 20 weeks pregnant &presently in Mumbai.i hv decided to deliver in bangalore staying with my inlaws.since they moved there recently they r not much familiar wiht Blore hospitals.i came to knw frm this site tht big hospitals like manipal,mallyas charge as high as 40-60k for normal delivery .and more for caesrn.

i wd like to go for a small pvt hospital .

can someone share opinions abt.fees charged in Shekhar hospital (bull temple road)or diwakars hospital in Jpngr.hw good are the gynecs there?
anybody who delivered in these 2 hospitals kindly share ur experiences.

anybody has idea about a good ggyn doc in IndiraNagar and surrounding area and where the delivery can also be done. I heard in Manipal they always look for money and for money they normaly opt for C-section rather then doing Normal delivery where normal is possible.

Hai.. I stay nearby to Shekar hospital. Facilities are not good. At Diwakar' s Cost is around 60K fr C - Section and routine checks are also quite costly. Almost at all multi speciality hospitals the cost is same. You can go for smaller nursing homes having good doctors.Normal deliveries are rare at multi speciaity hospitals.

Hai! Facilities at Shekar Hospital is not good. I stay in the same area and i am also carrying. Diwakar' s is quite costly. Routine tests would cost you around 1000. My sister in law had C - Section there even though everything was normal. It costed 60K for her (C Section).

Hi,

I am going to Diwakar' s hospital which is in J.P.Nagar 2nd phase. Though the hospital is not very big but it has all the facilities & Dr. Hema Diwakar is an expert gyn and is known for normal deliveries. So far I have very good & staisfactory experience over there.
Have no idea about Shekar hospital
