Fairs & Festivals:I love my crackers

I think this concept of reducing celebrations is all nonsense. Why shouldn' t people be allowed to enjoy themselves. Sure crackers may be a little noisy but its all a part of the celebrations. Besides its only for a few days. If it is so disturbing just close your windows and go to sleep. You must learn to let some things be.

It is attitude like yours which is why most people do not have an opportunity to enjoy their Diwali. How would you like it if you were seriously ill and needed rest but you could not get any because the neighbourhood brat was bursting loud firecrackers. A festival is no reason for uncouth and inconsiderate behaviour.
