Waiting to try:Urgent need of help regarding future planning

Name: Tanu Sharma

Hi All

Its very sad for me to tell all of you that i had a miscarriage and d & c on 1st march 2009. I was 8 weeks pregnant at that time. It was a very horrible experience for me.The bleeding after d & c has been stopped on 13th of March. Now I would again like to plan for a baby. When should i go ahead? For how long i have to wait now? Please advise...Is intercourse safe right now? i will be very thankful to everyone who will give suggestions. One more thing i would like to ask that i have put on some weight after d & c and my tummy becomes somewhat visible. What can be done to have the same body structure as before? Any exercises or diet suggestions?

Hai Tanu,

One has to wait atleast 2 months after the miscarrige to try again.Right now you need rest and healthy diet and a relaxed mind.Stay away from tensions and don' t stress yourself a lot thinking about the miscariage.Miscarriage is common during the first trimester.I had a miscarriage last year and I am pregnant now.You have to eat a lot of vegatables, fruits, nuts, legumes, pulse and milk.Your diet should contain proteins, calcium, vitamins and especially folic acid.
Don' t worry about the body structure.Drink lot of fluids.
