hi all, i am in 18th week now. I have started feeling back ache and lower abdominal pain. Sometimes when I change side while sleeping..i feel pain..and am finding it v difficult to sleep on sides :(
Otherwise I am fine. Sometimes after dinner i feel lot of tension in abdominal muscles n as if my stomach will burst..but after sleeping i wake up alright in the morning with all those uncomfortable feeling gone.
My doc has given me calcirol satchets to be taken with milk for pain around pubic are bones. Also i dont find it comfortable to put pillow under my foot while sleeping. what are others' experiences? Pls share.

The pains which I face now:
--I have pain in my legs while sleeping.
--When I get down from my bed I feel pain in my feet. After few minutes it disappears.
-- Sometimes when I suddenly get up from a chair or change my direction while lying down I feel a severe pain in the lower abdomen side like someone is pulling some nerves or something. I am not able to express what type of pain is it. Is there anyone facing the same type of pain?

I am 21 weeks and 4 days preggie... ans I am having this sort of pain (lower abdominal pain which goes down to vagina) since since 13th week. I am working and my work involves 8-9 hours sitting on computer. So at the end of the day while going to bed this pain becomes more severe that sometimes I am not able to change sides while sleeping. But when I get up in the morning pain become less. I asked doctor couple of times rearding this.. and she is saying its absolutely normal. Some people experience this pain some not.. so dont worry its absolutely normal and if you are lucky it will disappear in couple of weeks.

Regarding Back-aches If you are still going to sleep on your back, this back-ache may become more severe because you are gaining weight and sleeping on back will press your spinal-cord which may turn into back-ache. So try to sleep on sides especially on your left side, soon you will feel comfortable with that. Dont forget sleeping on your left side will give more space and more oxygen to your baby.. so for the sake of your baby.. try sleeping in correct position and soon your back-ache will gone.

And the most imporatant thing.. ask doctor about anything which you find strange without any hesitation afterall no one can better know about you except your doctor.. so keep asking questions...

Day afetr 2 morrow evn I' m gona start on my 18th week,n normally if u read other posts in this due board u' ll see that most of them had told abt lower abdomen pain n back ache,n pubic pain during this 17th -19th week.So seems like u 2 have this classic symptom of pregnancy now.These pain go off by itself normally within 4,5 days.So I' m sure ,surely within a week u will post back that pain has gone now...Now this abdomen pain happens coz the uterus stretches itself,so slightly we feel the pain...Anyways once our body gets adjusts to this stretchin our pain also will vanish....n regarding me I didnt have abdomen pain,but yes,very very mild back ache.Anyways now I dont have that too.So hopefully ur pain also will go off soon..
