Hi all

How are you doing?
On saturday I had my 17th week appointment...it was mainly for doing Down' s syndrome test..
But before that my doctor checked the baby...
But this time the baby was in deep sleep and it was not even showing the face...
we could only see the legs and spine and the head...
and the baby was in head down position...I was tempted to ask the doctor if it was
boy/girl...but when she was doing the scan..I could not ask her anything :)
and as we decided to do Down' s syndrome test..I was more worried about it than knowing the
baby' s gender...
These days my doctor is not making me listen baby' s heart beat..she just shows me see the heart is beating..so it was just a boring scan this week...it was more like doctor was doing her job of measuring baby' s head etc...
My next appointment will be 20th week... 3 weeks to wait :))

and finally my stomach is popping out...I had to rush to buy maternity clothes as none of my pants were fitting any more...
though the stomach is not showing out...I can feel that it is huge :) The maternity pants feel soooooooo good and comfortable...and I feel the tops and pants look better than normal wear :))

As Meghnah suggested..I tried to feel my baby this weekend...but my baby is lazy I guess..so could not feel anything...
May be I have to wait till 20th week to feel the baby...

I was waiting to read ur ultrasound report..so u saw ur \" sleeping beauty\" ...Gud..hmm this weekend I' m gona have my ultrasound,so may be I can expect my baby 2 sleep ...Its okeis lemme also see my sleeping beauty:-)

Hmm finally ur tummy is popping out.Gud...Pants never fit me now.I' ve told gudbye to it since my 8 weeks.Now I' m bored of wearing salwar kameez n skirts..Anyways seems like salwars kameez is also not fitting me now..Its bcum quite tight...Though I didnt gain weight much after my 3rd month(now I' m only 59 :-( ),I donno why these dresses r so god damn tight?..Anyways sum questions r better unanswered...

My aunt told me that 17 weeks is lil early to know the gender.U can know ur baby' s gender by 20th week.So may be next ultrasound u can ask ur doc...

whatever it is,u saw ur sleeping baby..:-)Seems like before going 2 doc,it had done all its activities,ther4 it got tired n slept off...

Hey fikar not ramya,u' ll surely gettu know ur baby' s movements very soon.Today I read in an article,that 4m 18th week onwards u' ll gettu know ur baby' s movements clearly.So may be thisz \" THE\" week u' ve been waiting for...

Its gr8 to read all ur messages...have got lot of tips..abt kesar milk and sleeping positions...I also had the habit of sleeping on my tummy rite form childhood...but now got used to sleeping on my side...i try to sleep on the left side now...
