Womens Issues:Is it fine to travel in 8th month of pregnancy

Name: SS Hi,

I am really tensed abt travelling in 8th month of pregnancy to My in laws place. My relatives and mom told me that its not recommended and can be unsafe for ababy. Though everyone says its better to travel in 7th or 9th month . What do you all suggest?

My husband doesn' t believe in such things ad feels these all are just myths.

Don´ t travel

Don' t travel specially by flight..3-6 months is only the safe period for long travel and that too when your doctor gives permission.

hi SS,
this is true that if any complications rise up in 8th month its difficult to say anything....thats y no travelling in 8th month is what everyone recommends...and as friend said very correctly also baby' s born in 8th month are prone to more problems....

Your message is not telling from where to where you have to travel and what mode of transportation u take to reach.
If the baby born in 8th month its difficult for the baby to survive and if the baby born in 7th or 9th month baby will surely survive thats what people say but i dont know to what extent thats true. why dont you consult a doctor??
