Waiting to try:Gynac in Malleswaram,Blore

Hi All,

Has anyone been under the treatment or heard of Dr. Leela Rao (Lakshmi Maternity Home, Malleswaram, Bangalore). I have been to her a couple of times and she has been very good. But I am not completely confident of the hospital facilities, which looks just about average.

I am in two minds whether to continue treatment with her or to visit another gynac. I want to make sure I chose the right doctor/hospital from the start itself.

By any chance, do you know any other gynac in Malleswaram, B' lore? Pls share your experiences. Any advice from your end would be highly appreciated.

Thanks
Sunshine

Dr. Leela Rao is experienced and knowledgeable. But there is a psyco by name dr veena. They badly need behavioural lessions. They do not know how to treat patients. They treat patients like cattle. She is arrogant, rude and misguide. She along with her assistant nurse ramya is a deadly combination. God help the people who consult her as there is no hope or help from these uncultured, less informed people.
Do not go to the sonologist shashikala who consults in Lakshmi menternity home. She is impatient, arrogant, rude, foolish, doesnt listen to patients problems, but try to frame the problem on her own. Her way of consulting is rediculous. She asks lady patients to strip in front of other lady patients in her small congested consulting room. There is no privacy to consult as she allows other patients in the discussion room. Her decision making is not good as she herself is under tremendous stress. She is there to make money and doesnt care if people' s problem is solved or not. If you are looking for some serious advice she is not the right doctor.

Hi Sunshine,

My SIL was consulting Dr.Leela Rao during her preganancy in 2004. And according to her, at the regular check ups, this lady was fine but during delivery, she had a terrible experience..it was a nightmare. She swears by this nursing home. Well, this is just my view but you can always take 2/3 opines prior to jumping to any conclusion.

I' m sorry i have no clue about any other nursing homes around Malleshwaram but i have heard Columbia Asia(next to Hebbal flyover) has a good service / track record. My cousin had a good experience. I guess this is not very far from Malleshwaram....i' m not sure how pathetic the traffic is though.

Hope this was helpful.

Take care and Good Luck !
