Name: Naina Iam a recently married women. My periods are irregular. And my cycle varies between 32-34 days; very occasionally to 39-40 days. Last month I had unprotected sex with my husband almost on every day. Now i find my periods missing for over 38 days. And no signs of it either. Except for backpain, I dont experience any other told symptoms of pregnancy either. We went in for a pregnancy test on my 37th day of the cycle and it was NEGATIVE. We are asked to redo the test after some more days. Could I be pregnant??? Plz help me friends as Iam very anxious to know this.

You might be and might not be too,somtimes it get delayed due to stress,harmone changes,and there is no need that u should have symtons if ur preg,some people won't have any symtons and they will be preg so check it again after few days.if ur planning to get preg try doing on 14th day before ur period starts ie u have to count back wards, that is the ovulation time,and u can know that there will be some white egg like discharge when ur ovulating so u can try on those days and chances of conceiving is more and don't get up immediately try lying down for 10 min atleast with ur legs up and keep a pillow under ur butt.
In rare cases preg test may show neg but when they do urine or sono they will come to know,those are in few cases.

Thank U so much for that reply dear friend. Well I took an HPT (home pregnancy test) on the 41st day of my cycle; which again showed a NEG result.
Anyway I'm planning to see a Gynae soon for seeking advice on my unduly delayed period.
Also Thanx a lot for those tips to be remembered while planning to conceive.
