Subject: affect of iron on baby-all moms to be n archie

hi archie and all.

today(20/10/2006) my mom read an article in the TIMES OF INDIA( international news section, page 29) and mentioned the same to me. she has asked me to consult the doc for the same. i thot i must share it with all and seek archies expert advice. also u cud discuss it with ur docs too.

the article talks of a research conducted in australia and says tht TAKING IRON PILLS DURING PREGNANCY MAY MAKE THE CHILD BEHAVE ABNORMALLY.The preg women took 20mg iron tabs everyday during preg.

archie what does ur information say? what is the right amt of iron required?
