Can you please suggest me the best clinics for IVF/ICSI in Bangalore? I had earlier looked at the forum and found mixed reviews (which are older ones) about Dr.Beena Vasan (Ankur), Srusti, Dr.Manisha (Fortis), Dr.Rukmani Devi... If you have recently experienced good a good doctor, please do share the address, experience, cost and time taken. This will help us to move ahead and plan accordingly. Monika replied. Her assistant Dr.Laxmi is so kind and the way they do TVS etc is really amazing.
Please do visit her and you will understand the difference. Hima replied. I went to Gunasheela last summer because I heard of others who were satisfied with their treatment there. I was grossly disappointed.

Like Kamini Rao' s clnic, Gunasheela also has an assembly line of women who are examined under unsanitary conditions. There' s no use of latex gloves, the sheets are never changed between patients unless you demand it, I' ve found blood stains on robes and I' m sure my eyes were unable to detect the vaginal fluids that were also present from previous patients.

It made me worried about what other medical procedures that these clinics are cutting corners on.

What also bothers me is that it' s an arduous process to see the head honcho at Kamini Rao' s clinic. Expect to wait hours (2-6 hours) and have your patience tried and tried again until the rage starts to swell up from having your time wasted.

Also, these 2 clinics aren' t transparent about the costs involved with your procedure. While Kamini Rao lists some publically, Gunasheela acts like they' re numbers are too precious to reveal until you pay for a consultation with them. Even then, they refuse to give you written estimates of the costs.


I visited Dr. Madhuri Patil for initial tests & examination and agree she was very thorough because she is the doctor who examines patients herself rather than have junior, less experienced doctors do the work and report back to her. But Patil has totally dropped the ball in following up with my case inspite of repeated emails + calls to her facility, which I think is pretty unprofessional.

Are there any other IVF clinics people would suggest? I absolutely don' t want to return to Gunasheela or Kamini Rao. My experiences with these doctors have been substandard and I find their facilities to be unhygenic.
