Health Concerns:Archie, need ur advice

Thanks Archie,

After ur advice I consulted a doc and was diagonised with urinary infection. I am fine now and 9 weeks pregnant. I still have light yellow discharge everyday. But today along with the yellow discharge was a light, very light pink discharge, which looked like blood to me. After that normal yellow discharge only was seen. Should I take rest, or is this normal. This is my first pregnancy and I am very scared as I stay very far frm my gynac and there is no one to help us. Even I am not much aware of changes during pregnancy neither is my husband. I travel nearly 2hrs to my work place which is by train and then by bus, i take maximum care while travelling and do not do much work at hme or office. My gynac has not said anything, she has cald me for a checkup on 24/9 & has askd me to take care.

Please help

dear jensy,
One comment I want to make about vaginal discharge is this, it's odorless and usually colorless or sort of white discharge. I wonder why you have yellow discharge, has infection not been taken care completely? Just a possibility, if you don't mind call your OB and get it tested for urinary and vaginal infection.

The bleeding could be normal if you don't have infection. But should you have infection then you need to take care.

VAginal spotting or bleeding is normal in first trimester and could be due to many reasons. Do you intercourse? If you do then avoid that. Do not lift heavy stuff can lead to vaginal bleeding.

I want you to rule out possibility of vaginal or urinary tract infection.

please keep me updated.

Dear Archie,
No the discharge is always is slightly yellowish in colour. it is rarely white. it is odourless. i will consult with my OB as soon as possible. no i did not have intercourse, but yes i did a lot of ironing standing straight just the day before the bleeding happened (it was a slight bleeding)after that it was ok, only normal yellowish discharge. But i was so scared. i started thinking of all stupid things. Thanks a lot for your advice I really value it a lot. Thanks once. will keep you posted on my infection. Thanks.
