Due Date Club March 2009:NT Scan & Update
2008-09-08
Name: Sunshine

Hi All,

In my 13th week and had my NT scan on Saturday. Baby is fine. The due date is confirmed as 17th March. I was thrilled to hear this but moments later the radiologist told me that I have one more fibroid. This is my second one :( anyways, she has adviced additional rest and says I am at a higher risk of c-section or premature as one of the fibroids is a cervical fibroid.

Gynac has asked me to continue with my prenatal vitamin till the 15th week after which she has prescribed calcium, iron and b-complex tablets to be taken till the full term.

Vomiting has come down considerably. Its back to a little nausea now. Appetite is better though I am able to eat only in small quantities, I do feel hungry more frequently now. Fatigue has also reduced. I am able to get up in the mornings, which was an impossible task for me! I also feel a little more active than before.

Wish you all lotsa luck with your NT Scan. Do keep us posted!

Hi,

Glad to know you are doing well and scan went well. Sorry to hear about the second fibriod, I hope it' s fine soon.

I had my first tri screening last week- was quiet exciting to see the baby, somehow it' s difficult to imagine the progress happening inside you.. till you see the detailed ultrasound pics :) will get the reports by this week.. hoping for all to be ok.

All the best for your next screenings!

My next scan is the anomaly scan at 22-23 weeks.
Till then the doctor has asked me to come every 4 weeks for regular check-up.

Never take Relicord - pathetic customer care
Hi All,

According to my experience with Relicord, I will never recommend any one to go with Relicord. It' s being 1.5 years now, I am paying the EMIs, but I had enough trouble with them.
1.After one year they send a legal notice to me saying that I have not given the intitial advance of 20,000 R.s

Lifecell is the best
yes Life cell is the best, when ourbabygirl was due in Feb 2011 we shortlisted Lifecell after meeting Cyrobanks, Relicord, Babycord etc. Cyrobanks are thugs they promise you the moon and also there is no indian hand in this company so we can' t rely on them at all. Relicord is good but the offers have so much marketing gimmicks. Other players lacks either the technical inf... - CK [View Message]

Avoid Beena Jaysingh. We' ve got seriously burnt up by Dr. Beena Jaysingh of Apollo Bellandur. Dr Beena is highly unprofessional and always behind money. She is incompetent and doesn' t understand patient problems and needs. Whenever we went to her for my wife' s pregnancy she wrote all the available tests without even asking and thinking.

My personal experience with ReliCord is not good. My baby is now 9 months old and the contract is still not signed. I am following up since last 6 months.

Anybody has any idea what can be done in such a case.... - Ani [View Message]
