i was 19 years old then It was the second year of my college and i used to always enjoy my college i always loved my hair that almost reached my shoulder i used to have different styles some time keep it open or have a small pony tail my friend used to always appreciate me for that it was a short divali vacation for me and my family had planned to go to my native i was very exited as i was going there after almost 4 years i enjoyed my journey to my native at tamil nadu after spending a couple of days my parents along with my cousins planned to go to tirupati i was also exited about it as it was an another new place for me while my journey there my 3 cousins who were all of my age said that they were going to shave their heads at tirupati as an offering it seemed very funny to me someting i would never even think of doing after reaching to tirupati i was waiting to go to the temple but before that my parents took me to a big hall were people were coming out with shaved heads my cousins were with me as they were going to shave their heads.after reacing to the counter my cousins brought 3 tickets for them all and then my father brought 1 ticket also.i asked my dad r u going to shave ur head, my dya replied no.i asked then why r u buyin this ticket he said it was for me .for a minute i thought he was joking then my mom said they had vowed tto shave my head i i had good marks in my 10th grade but never got a chance till date i refuced to do it but at the end i had to agree as my relatives all forced me saying that it is not a good thing to do then i was made to stant i a long q before me were my 3 cousing who got there head shave one after the other at last it was my turn i almost felt like crying i sat down next to the barber for the last time i put my hands through my hair to feel them then the barber applied a lot of water on my head till all my hair was wet and then me massaged it and later removed a strait razor he bent my head down and kept the razor at the middle of my head it was almost tears in my eyes he started shaving my head and finished the back in just few minutes and then he started with the front side as in just a few more minuted he was done i got up and touched my head to feel there was no hair and i was compleately bald i was prety upset about the fact how i would go to college and face my same friends it was a real ambarising situation for me then soon after i came out of that plate i stated wearing my cap out of shame then we all cam back home the very next day was my college i dint feel like going to college but out of no option i left to college wearing my cap thinking no one would notice me but i was just entering the college gate, my group of frinds were all standing there and we all greeted each other as we met after some days one of my friends asked me why was i wearing the cap and before i could say any thing another frind of mine just pullled out my cap and they were all shoked to see me bald they al teased me throughout the day but some also thold me that i looked good next day onwards i did not wear the cap as it was all fine now ..........
