Hi,
I' m ttc. I took thyroid tests. MY TSH is well within the normal range. But my endocrinologist didn' t suggested T3 and T4. But she did u/s. and reported normal.
Do someone have any idea whether I can ttc now or have to take T3 and T4. Will it affect the conception.
Radha I read ur previous posts and very pleased with ur advices and guidance to others. Keep up ur good work. If u too can throw some light mean I' ll be happy.
Thanks to all in advance,
Amba

If your TSH levels are normal the chances of your thyroid not functioning properly is very slim. As a rule TSH increases or drops depending if you' re hyper or hypo which then affects the T3 & T4 levels. Generally when an endo orders thyroid blood tests T3 T4 and others are done all at once so there is a good chance that he had the results and looked at them. As far as I know as long as your thyroid is functioning withing normal ranges there are no problems with TTC or to the baby' s health.
