Of late our son Ansh who is almost 3 mnths, has started crying aloud in his dreams...is it a common thing in babies?Today morning while sleeping at 7 am,he cried for at least a min and then i hugged him close and started feding him, so he stopped crying. He sleeps with us duringnight time.I go towork during day time and my in-laws take care of him while we r aways.
what cud be the reason of this kind of behaviour.otherwise ansh is a happy child.

Hi Sangeeta,
It's normal thing for child to cry and smile in sleep. Most kids do and there is nothing to worry about. When they cry (And sometimes it's really loud), you can do what you just did last time. Hold them and ensure them that you are close. Rock them and put them back to sleep.

Again, Don't worry. it's normal and most kids do that. It freaked me out first time it happend to my son but after asking around, I realized it's normal for kids. It's fun to watch them when they smile in sleep. It used to be my favorite thing to do to see my son smiling in sleep. I felt it was million dollar smile :) So enjoy your baby.....

Sweet dreams to your little one!

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
