i m 29 years old female and married since 4 years. I havnt planned for a baby yet.
I hope this is the right board to ask this.
i have noticed that before marriage my period used to last for 4-5 days with heavy flow on day 1 and 2.Flow used to get very less on day 4 and 5. Now, my period last only for around 3 day with normal flow on day 1 and hardly any flow on day 3. is such variation normal over the years or is this some danger sign. please answer my question.

hey!

The changes you describe are not terribly drastic so it might not be a cause for concern. Changing the form of protection you use can affect the length of a period but this is generally the case with tampons vs napkins. If you are concerned please speak with your doc and have a full work up to ease your mind. All the best!

yes ..if u take birth control pills it usually lightens the priods and also lessens any other discomforts of periods
if ur not on pills just get a chk up done so taht any hormonal disbalance is ruled out
