I am Neelima. 19 years old,from Andhra Pradesh. I have recently fail in EAMCET entrance. In intermediate,i came home after college. Now , for getting good rank, my parents enrolled me in hostel. And , since hostel water is not good, someone adviced my parents to get my headshave. Parents believe I will have more concentration and also offering to god may improve my education. But I like my hair too much to shave. I can´ t imaging going to class with a bald head . But sometimes i feel parents are thinking about my future. I am confused. Please advice me. Dont get scared for headshave for the sake of ur studies.Read my posting \" Headshave for suspect\" where i am still undergoing the pain of headshave for my studies.

See MCET is the crucial education you have to pursue to decide ur future.So that needs lot of concentration. Since you told that you have already failed once .you need an additional effort for it. So going for a headshave will be treated as a punishment for your failure and will constantly remind you when u look at your shaved head in the mirror to study.

I can understand that u are a teenaged girl. I can understand the pain of being bald looked in class. but u have no choice but to perform gundu.

Think this is as severe punishment your parents are giving you for wasting their time, effort and money.Bend ur head in front of the babrer, allow him to shave it firmly and once be embarrassed for ur failure and the consequential gundu and study well. You can go as per your parents,dont fear and now a days headshaving is common.After headshave you can use cap and attend classes.

You must feel happy that your parents are advising you for head shave during college studies. Your thought that parents are thinking about your future is perfectly correct. Hair anyway grows. You are not the only college girl in the country who would go with bald head. There are thousands and even more. So accept your parents' suggestion happily, give your full hair to God happily, go around with a bald head happily, study well and get good marks. Do not bother about a few who would tease you for a few days. By the time you complete your course you will have good and long hair. Then you will realise that offering your full hair once in a while is really nice and good.
