Hi, I am planning to provide Day Care Facility for children in Kolkata. I am a professional thinking of quitting my job & starting my own venture. Jhumri replied. I' m australian and live in australia, my husband is indian, and I have been to Inida. I loved it in India so much, that I want to live there. I found life here so much of a struggle, and felt that my children and myself were so much more ' accepted' in india. I work in childcare here, and cannot stress how difficult this job is. We spend more time on paperwork that with the children, which is not what I thought i was getting into! My husband and I want to relocate to India permanantly, perferrabely Kolkotta as this is where he is from. I never even considered that I could work in a childcare facility in India! Am from Kolkata too and I think its a brilliant idea. There is nothing like looking after your own kids along with others. But you must have a spacious place for the kids to move around and offcourse all the other professional advise that comes along with it.
