The biggest obstacle to helping a child cope with divorce is to sensitise the people around him. Many people do not realise how hurtful their comments can be. Your child should not have to discuss his problems with people who will pry and probe into your family' s personal matters. Person who wants to get divorced should think twice before taking this decision because it is finally going to affect the future of child. And we all know how people are. They always wait, watch and enjoy the bad things which are going to happen to their neighbours and relatives. People are happier if some bad things are happening to other rather doing something good to their own self.
