I is a pleasure for me to introduce Jaipur’s first support group for women- PRARAMBH, an initiative of Better Life Foundation. I write to you as a representative of this self-supportive, Government registered NGO that supports those struggling to cope with the aftermath of separation, divorce or desertion.
I, as the founder of PRARAMBH has been where you are right now. I know that Divorce is never a neat, straight line::: the word itself shatters a lot of things. You take two steps forward and three steps back. One moment you' re feeling on top of the world and two minutes later you could be in a heap of tears, confusion, and fear. It doesn' t have to be that way…believe me!
PRARAMBH is the first social and professional support group for the unique needs of divorced/separated/widowed/single-mothers who are looking to add to their social network and activities and I' d like to welcome all those who are going through the processes of separation and divorce... to talk. To those who have been through the process and have survived... to share
Divorce or separation does not discriminate against color, race, ethnical background, age, or education background. Even good people face divorce or separation but knowing that you are not alone makes a big difference.
So, whether you’re contemplating, navigating, moving beyond divorce or getting remarried, our entire team is here to for you no matter what step you' re at in this difficult transition. We help you to navigate the psychological journey that goes along, by providing support with a new network of friends. PRARAMBH is NOT a dating site or match making service.
It is a confidential networking service which provides valuable support to successfully conquer the emotional and physical effects of divorce or separation, rebuild your self-esteem, rebuild your life so, you may enjoy happiness again.
Everyone in the group will be different, with everyone having different jobs, education, and ethnical background but will share the same anger, unhappiness, and emotional feelings. Your pain, your fear, your anger, hurt, guilt, tension, nervousness, illness, depression -- whatever it is you are feeling is probably the most real thing in everyone’s life.
Membership is open to all age groups of divorced, separated or widowed women. Women getting remarried are also welcome .This group is new, so we can make it whatever we want!
