Hi folks, I am from the april month club. Just wanted some tips on buying bras. I am fed up trying and spending money on bras. Anything I buy (Nursing / pregnancy bras) gets tighter after washing. I want one that is totally comfortable around the circumference and not elastic. Pl help.

hi Priya,
i was actually due on the 26th but I ended up having the baby on the 6th. We had a boy and we named him Devan. About the bras, the best ones seem to be the motherhood bras. I have been wearing them for a few days now and the seem to be the most flexible and comfortable. Don't get underwires, the lactation specialist at the hospital said that it's not good to get bras with underwires because I think it hinders milk flow. Hope you are feeling well and good luck with everything:)

Hi seshadri,
My girlfriends told me to wait till I bought nursing bras till I am closer to the end. I am due in about 3 weeks and I just bought my first nursing bras. I don't like underwires so I found the softcup types that seem to have have plenty of room for me to grow into. I found some nice ones at Motherhood, and believe it or not Walmart and Target that are cotton and pretty comfortable. The ones at Walmart and target weren't even too expensive. This way I figured if they end up being too small, I can buy new ones that fit right and save the other ones for the next time. Your bra size is going to change so you may want to wait a little more before buying all of your bras. My breasts seem to be filling out a little more again as I am getting toward the end. Hopefully this will help you and I wish you the best.
Jigna
