Hope everyone is fine and awaiting their little one's arrival anxiously.
I've a querry. I'm in my 39th week and still there is no sign of labor pain or any other symptoms as such. I was wondering how many of you are in the same boat that is in 39 or 40 weeks but still no sign of labor. What does your doctor say? Please reply.

Shiwani jigna replied. Hi Shiwani,
I'm a little behind you but from the Lamaze classes I've been taking they said that it's actually normal to be at that point and feel nothing. My doctor has told me that if I don't deliver naturally by week 42 then he will do a C-section because the placenta starts to degrade after a certain number of weeks and the baby also starts to get too large. Are you starting to dialate yet? Not that it means anything because I've been 2cm dialated for over a week now and no baby yet. From what some of my friends have been telling me is to walk as much as possible without tiring yourself out, it's supposed to help the baby drop lower due to gravity which will help you dialate and you'll have less to push since the baby is lower.
