Hi,
I get my periods every month 4 days ahead of 30 days. This month i did not get the period even after 1 week of 30 days. Am i pregnant? How do i get confirmed that i am pregnant? From my actual period date i am getting a little pain in my stomach showing symptoms for the period but i am not getting the period. Could there be a possibility of getting pregnant or there could be a problem with my health? can anyone one suggest me on this? I' m very much confused and tensed about it? Do i need to consult a gyn for this

Hi Veni,

There' s a chance that you could be pregnant if you have been actively trying for it. I would suggest you to take a home pregnancy test as you ahve missed your periods more than week. If you are in U.S any pahrmacy( walgreens, CVS) will have those home pregnancy test kit. I used \" first response\" brand and it showed me positive result soon after 4 days i missed my periods. If you are trying the test follow the directions correcty and do accordingly. And better if you use your first morning urine for best results. Once you get positive results you may get a appointment with your Gyn and confirm it. If you get a negative result it doesn' t mean that you are not pregnant, wait for another 5 days and try again. If you don' t get your periods or nay positive result, then you shud be worried about your health.

Always the first main reason for not getting periods in woman is due to pregnancy and the second main cause may be stress. once my periods was delayed almost 10 days due to stress. So be cool and take a home pregnancy test and let me know!

Congrats! So happy for you, so you will be joining us in jan due board! Keep in touch.

I´ m sorry veni, i don´ t live in NJ so I have no idea. May be with ina couple of days i´ ll try to call my friends in NJ and ask abt it and let you know if you still need it.

If you ahev any friends arnd there, pls ask them which will be more appropriate. May be you can ask your hubby to find out from his coligues if he works in NJ.

Thank you very much for your timely response. I have taken the pregancy test at home and it came +ve.
Can you pls suggest me good female Gyn in and around Avenel/Edison NJ if you know any.
