Crying & Colic:Breastfeeding issue

Hi Girls,

I have a weird problem.. or so it seems to me atleast. My son is 10 days old and everytime i try to breastfeed him it doesnt work- my milk comes in drops only, but when i use he pump it flows after a few seconds. Is there any way to rectify it?

continue nursing..continue nursing...do NOT give up..the milk will come as the baby suck as Seema says in her reply.

one of my friend used to pump only to her baby (no breastfeeding) and her milk stop after two months, because of the lack of baby' s sucking. so u do not give up and continue the feeding.

i think it is common in first couple weeks to have less milk supply. for me also it happened the same way.
continue nursing your baby. frequent sucking increases supply.

i had heard this anti colic bottles are reduce gas in stomach, and that is good for kid health, my friend found the coiic bottle on beebaby, that is easy to clean and i guess is definitely worth the price.... - ramesh [View Message]
