Has anyone had an ectopic pregnancy with IVF? Is it possible to become pregnant after this? Please give me some information on how the pregnancy is removed? Hi I had an Ectopic Pregnancy 6yrs. back with a IUI and notIVF.I am residing in US.My Ectopic Pregnancy was terminated by a drug named Methotrexate Injection.My left tube was affected and the Dr. told me that they will measure the size of the embryo(which has to be within some measurement) I am not exactly sure about the Measurements.After taking the measurement into consideration(it should be within that range), which was for me luckily, then only they gave me a choice to terminate it by that Injection.Otherwise the Dr.had surgery in mind but no guarentee was given to save the Left tube.Luckily all ended well in my case and 6 months later i conceived naturally and gave birth to a Beautiful Son.So yes there are two methods one is terminating by Injection and another is by surgery. Yes it is possible to get pregnant later, provided you have atleast one tube.Good Luck!
