Illnesses are common during rainy season because of too much moisture and humidity. Germs thrive in moist and humid conditions so they are more during monsoons. They cause fever, cold, cough, diarrhoea and many other diseases and infections.

Fever, Cold and cough and sore throat are very common during rainy season. Other than these common illnesses skin infections and water borne diseases are also very common. Mosquito borne diseases like malaria and dengue are also common as mosquitoes breed in stagnant water. Incidences of fungal skin infections are also seen.
