Dear All,

My baby boy is running into 4th month. His health & weight gain are fine but he is suffering from mild acid reflux,ie,GER.He is spitting up around 1/4th of milk every time after his feed. His Dr was not prescribing any medicine since his weight gain was very good.I am taking all the precautions like baby position, amout of milk etc but still hes vomiting heavily.Hes on Lactogen 1 primarily nowadays. For the 1st 2 months he was on BF exclu.bt still he was spitting like anything at times milk comes out from his nose also.During day time he trakes sound sleep but early moring are terrible for him & he becomes very restless.
Please help me out if any1 else has also faced the same problem.

Regards,
Monica

Yes monica,
My son is also suffering from the same prob, but it’s not so severe.
I mean he vomits but very less and nothing comes out from the nose.
His weight gain and height are also Ok.
I tried lots of dadi maa’s medicine some digestive enzymes etc but they didn’t help me.
Earlier he used to take out milk very frequently specially in the evenings and during burping, but now the frequency has decreased. My pediatrician told me to give him solids, so I have started giving my son some solids as rice and dal, khicdi, soups whatever is convenient. Now he omits less. Try not to play with him after the feed and if he wants carry him but don’t let him play or turn upside down. Try to get the feeder that has vent so that there is no air swallowing by him during his bottle feed.
These things have helped me a lot.
Yesterday I have started one medicine for this and if this works I will surly inform u.
I can understand how it feel when the baby spills out everything he eats.
Take care of your son
Bye

Hi Sg,
Almonds are good for babies and you can give them so happily but it would be better give them by making it as milk. But in initial you give baby in minimum quantity then later increase the quantity.... - Siri [View Message]
