hi vani,

when you book the tickets, request the wheelchair assistance for your mom. The Airlines will do this sevice free of charge. SHe will be taken care from the check-in from her start place until your destination pt ie until you see her.

also, there will be so many Indians/tamilians travelling and can ask her to speak with them during her flight journey to help her fill out the form.
my mom in law travelled from India to US without any problem - she too doesnt know english and was 72yrs when she travelled.

Hi vani,

Yes.....they will help if she asks them. Just ask her to show the passport show signs to fill the form when they distribute the form. As sheetal said, its no questions asked service. they do that for whomever we request.

take care,
Jichi

Vani, don´ t worry if your mom is young or old. The wheelchair assistance is no-questions-asked service. Even a 30-yr-old can have a leg problem, rite? My mil can´ t speak in english and has traveled to US twice with this wheelchair assistance. As Jichi said, just request for this service at the ttime of booking your ticket or even later, before the travel date. Your mom will be picked up at checkin and will be assisted completely from india to US, even at the stopovers.

Thank you so much for replying .

My mom she is just 43years old , will they provide wheelchair for her . And most of the time its hard to find Indians/Tamilians in MAS Airlines , most of the passenger will be chinese , that´ s why im worrying abt . DO u think the flight attendant can help her to fill in the forms .

Sorry for asking question/. again.

Take care .
