What are Lamaaz classes ? When are we supposed to start them ? Is it provided at the hospital or the Doctor's clinic ? How much do they cost ?

In India too it has become popular,just a way of coping&understanding normal labour.For first timers it is a help!
Ya Bhargavi is right it usually costs 120$though mine is 135$and for 5 wks.
You too try to sign up soon,helps you&'daddy to be' get familiar with the demands of pregnancy&childbirth!It is usually avaible at the hospital u r going to deliver or u can join any close by hospital.Contact the 1-800#at lamaaz website&they will help you locate a class close to you.

Lamaze

Hi Ritu/Manvi
Hope ur all enjoying ur baby kicks.
I booked for Lamaze in third trimester.
Lamaze is childbirth preparation class. MY frend told that last 2 months is lot of discomfort and the Lamaze teaches u techniques to relax urself in case of pain or discomfort. Also it helps during labour if u are able to follow them. It costs 120$ per couple.
I am also going for a OneDay Infant Care they teach to breastfeeding, bathing, diapering, everything. Since I have twins I thot I will learn them, even though my mom is gonna be here to teach me.
