Yes I do not go for \" Summer Machinecuts\" .I wish and my barber also provides sufficient hairs at the top for a boyish crop. Regarding your plan for \" machine Cut\" I am sure you will certainly enjoy. But, keep the instructions to the barber to a minimum. Don' t worry there are many boys and even girls who like such a haircut these days. In fact my maths and science teachers keep rubbing my \" machined area\" outside the classroom in a very affectionate way with many of my junior boys watching in appreciation. Yes my brother loves to have his \" machine cut\" every month. He will have short back and sides with sufficient hairs for combing his crop. During summer months of March, April and May and during exam times he usually go for \" Summer Machinecuts\" wherein he will have less hair at the top. In fact I am inspired by his regularity and confidence after the cut. Since I like to have a similar cut like my brother, I insist to go to the same saloon. Many people has watched me having my machinecut with some of them giving a wonder-struck look. But seeing my firmness and confidence along with my brothers they appreciate me for my cut.
Regarding your dilemma for a machinecut my opinion is try to find any of your friends have the machinecut. Discuss their experience and start liking the cut from the heart. Read Arun Rama, Nitin and Preeti' s experiences of this forum Then barber will not be a problem Hema replied. I told the barber to make sure he removes all the hair on the sides and behind till the middle and make the hair really short on the top. I told him specifically to use the clippers.

Thanks for sharing your experiences.Though initially I was hesitant to have a machine cut, but being a boy I always wanted the same and was really inspired by Nitin and Preeeti' s experiences posted in this forum. I had my recent machine cut on 28th June. My brother Ravi accompanied me and we both had the similar cut. As I have already stated in my case back and sides are tapered gradually and very nicely and I will be left with sufficient hairs to comb my crop. Inspired by my style, Anushri twice had the similar cut in the same saloon and it was liked by all. She looks very cute with such a machine cut. Richa replied. I do go with my brother and actually have the same machine cut. The manual handheld clippers provide a far better experience. I like its musical sound. My barber cuts very nicely and I would have sufficiend hairs at the top for combing my crop.Congrats for having such a cut. Initially, classmates, friends and relatives appreciate indirectly then they would do so openly. For a cute look after machine cut, especially for a boy, he should be clean shaved and this applieds even to a girl. I feel energetic after my machinecut once in three months and would like to do exercises such as cycling and swimming. So please allow sufficient hairs at the top for a crop, and have a gradual taper with some portion at the back and sides having no hair.Ensure that you are clean shaved. It is nice to know that all of you share the liking for \" machine cut\" similar to my own liking. My elder brother who is 17 years of age looks very smart with a machine cut. He has been having the same cut every month since childhood. I always appreciate him for the cut. On my insistence, once in three months we both visit the saloon and have machine cut. I really like cycling after having a smart boyish machine cut. Hema replied. I think a ' summer cut' using manual clippers looks real good on boys. I once convinced my 13 year old cousin to get a close machine cut. I accompanied him to the saloon to see the cut :-)
The barber gave my cousin a very short hair cut ! Scalp was visible behind and on the sides near the ears.

The barber has been using handheld clippers (he needs both hands while operating) for my machinecuts. The machine sounds \" kit-kiti-kit\" and not \" cluck-cluck-cluck\" as described by Preeti. On enquiry I found that there are machines which can be operated with a single hand and they sound like thus. I request Preeti to respond as to her barber uses machine held in a single hand. I totally agree with Preeti that machine sounds like music in one' s ears while getting a cut. Ramesh replied. Hi Arun and Others,
I am also a fresher to the forum. I gone through the postings of Preeti, Nitin, Ravi and Prakash. Their experiences about \" Machine Cut\" which is also called as clippercut are really inspiring. I also started liking such a haircut when I am in the ninth standard on inspiration from my close friend Amit.

Thank you for sharing your brief and informative experience. Most of the \" machine cut\" happen due to inspiration from friends and/or family members unless such a habit is cultured as Preeti does to Ramya and her son from the childhood.
