hi every one im krishna 23yrs, i usually prefer to shave my head rather than haircut because when im studying intermediate in sri chaitanya, vijayawada on every sunday barber use to come to hostel at exactly 1pm. At that time our classes will be over so that at that time i use to have long black silky hair measures 10cms in length. I went for haircut at 1:20pm at that time other guy is being headshaved. I ordered normal medium haircut. Next week as usally barber is waiting outside the hostel. Then i decided to shave my head once to try then i went to him and he asked what i said ' ' naku gundu cheyyali' ' then he told to sit on the wooden stool infront of small mirror. He completely wetted my hair with mug and massaged it. He took straight razor and kept half blade in it. He bended my head and started headshave, after shave he cutted lemon and maked it to juice and placed on my head to be away from scalp problems . After headshave i went to my room then my room mates got shocked by saying u r looking good man. I also liked it and felt good and njoyed the feel of shave. Like that twice in a month in hostel i use to shave my head by barber. On sundayr When im coming close to him he use to say, ok gundu cheyyalundi,, i use to say yes with a smiling face. Like that a fantasy developed in me, after completion of intermediate i got eamcet rank and promoted to biotechnology in vaizag andhra university . At that time also, with my knowledge i roamed many streets to find a old fashioned barber shops. I did find a barber shop maintained by old man aged like 52yrs. His shop is small woodened one equiped with wooden stool and old long mirror. Once in every month i use to go for headshave in that barber shop. Like that 3 years i had headshave every month in that shop. Every time he use to say' ' your hair is silky and would be good if u grow it long and had a proper haircut. Then i use to say i like to get gundu. After completing my graduation in vaizag i didnt shaved my hair upto six months. Now i have long silky hair as before in 10nth class. Now i planned to get shaved today in old barber shop in guntur. The shop is good one, which i searched for 2 hours on a bike roaming every street to find it and get my headshave. I went at 3:20pm to the barber shop and i saw the old man sitting on a bench outside the shop. His shop is on road side. Equipped with a wooden chair. I went close to the shop. Barber standed by seeing me infront of his shop. I said naku gundu cheyyali, then he asked me to sit on the chair then i sat comfortably. He tied a white cloth around me. And he has taken a bowl and dipped in a bucket to get water. Im waiting eagerly to feel once again my shave. Then with the bowl he has taken water and poured and wetted my head simultaneously. All the water from my hair is falling on my face then he said it would be better to get more water for close shaving. He took a cloth and rubbed excess water on my face . Then he took a comb and maded my long hair combed into two sides from the centre. Its my first experience and style of barber combing and dividing hair from middle into two. Its a good experience, either i had many headshaves. He has taken a straight razor and kept half blade in it and he bended my head and he kept a straight razor on the middle of my head and started giving nice strokes to the scalp, soon he had finished half headshave all the hairs fell infront of me and again he has wetted the other half head and combed other side and finally shaved it. While shaving i enjoyed the sound of straight razor scrapping my hair. After headshave i asked the barber to shave once again in a opposite direction with lather shaving cream then he said ok. He has taken shaving paste and squeezed a small portions on my head and taken shaving brush and dipped in water and rubbed the paste on my scalp to get foam. And he changed the blade in straight razor and kept a new half blade. And started in opposite direction and after finishing headshave he sprinkled water on my gundu and rubbed with cloth. And finally he applied spattikum to get cool relief on my headshave. I enjoyed the shave really and i asked him how much i have to pay then he said 20 ruppees. Then i gave 40 ruppees to him and said that i liked good shave and care of yours and said to keep it for ur self. He thanked me. I said i wil come twice in every month for headshave .he told yes sure. When im returning to home i stopped in the centre and buyed nice cap to cover my gundu and a hair removal paste. I reached my home and my mom saw me bald and said again u shaved ur head aaa. I smiled and went into my room and applied some water on my head and applied hair removal cream on my scalp and kept for 8minutes like that to remove very tiny budding of hair in scalp then i had done head bath and freshened my self and looked again in mirror. Im totally bald with white shiny scalp which seems there is no hair bud for growth. Very very smooth. Try it and feel it. Thanks every one who shared my experience. why dont u leave it for long time and get it shaved.......like tat u can stop and also get it shaved...take a video tooo ashok replied. kindly send photos, if any for the process.Thanks. Kannan replied. I have always like barbershop headshaves than temple. My first headshave at barbershop was 30years ago when i was in 5th standard when i had a step cut and my mom and father teased me to have it cut short. I decided to get it shaved fully in protest. I went to a barbershop nearer to my house and it was late in the evening and the barber was about to close.I entered with step cut covering my ears and told the barber to put mottai on me. He was surprised. I went and sat in the chair. He opened the draw and took one straight razor. he had a handy stone in which he applied few drops of oil and started sharpening the razor.After that he harpened it in a leather belt which was hanging. Then he put the cloth around my neck. Took the glass spray bottle and sprayed water all my head and started using hand to massage it fully. He literally rinsed the hair. He took the sharpened razor and bend my head down and started slowly my back and I could feel chill air on razored area. soon he started the front and sides and he finished the razor. Then he sprayed water again and razored it fully again on opposite stroke and made it clean. The heapplied powder on full head and i was looking nice with bald head. I paid him Rs.3/- those days and I liked it. My parents were also happy that i shaved my hippy hair. I could ever forget this shave in my life though I have had many after till now. bhargava replied. Thank you for your posting and experience. Don' t think of having long hair. Have frequent machinecuts and usage of razor to clean he areas above the ear, neck and sides. You will really love the sound of machine while cutting your hair.
