Hi firends, I just completed 12 weeks and since the last few days, i have extreme heartburn, no matter what I eat,,, increases especially with fruits 9even bananas,though I completely avoided citrus fruits!)... Any suggestion. Also Is it safe to travel during the 5th-6th month of pregnancy to India... The alst ultrasound i ahd showed a normal baby, I had slight brownish spotting for 10 days during my 6th -8th week....but the dr. said it was perfectly normal.. archei replied. Faith,
Similar message was seen before, I don't remember which of the month clubs. I think you will have to work on your meal frequency, amount at a go and timing.
Do not eat a lot in one go. Eat many times but small meals.
Do drink non-fat to low fat milk to sooth heart burn.
if in USA eat as much as you want TUMS.
do not eat lot of spicy stuff until you feel ok from heart burn, not that spice is bad but can aggrevate heartburn.

It's normal what you are going through.

yes you can travel after reading your week 20 ultrasound and reviewing current siutation by your OB at the time of travel.
