congratulations for the lill doll. thats good that u hv alreay started shopping for her. and ya searching a name for ur baby is such a hectic job. though there r so many names available on net but find just one name out of them is really difficult.

as far as birth classes are concerned, i dont think that ill be able to join them coz i m going back to india and dont hv much idea abt the classes over there.

I am in my 19th week and just started feeling the those cute little kicks.. but I feel them only when I am not doing any activity. May be that’s when we notice her little movements.
Ira & Vidhu,
Dr told me that if you see 3 lines between the legs it is a girl and for guys there would be a prominent growth.. but I found it hard to find out through the U/S. I am still having those U/S pictures and not able to figure out. May be if it was a boy, it would be seen clearly..
Baby’s grandparents have already started shopping jewels & frocks for her… now I am getting jealous :-).. we are planning to name her with a meaning of Patience and Endurance.. any suggestions?
Is anyone here going for prenatal yoga? I heard it was good especially for the breathing techniques.. Have you all thought about birth classes?

yeah!!
i feel kicks too now.... and u´ re right.. it´ s mostly when i am sitting or lying down.

thanks for that information..... maybe that´ s how doctors determine if it´ s a boy or a girl...
atleast in my case.. the doctor actually said.. see.. the small testes an.. a penis... so she was absolutely sure it´ s a boy... no chance of a change!! :-(

but frankly.. even i could´ nt see anything!! and she did not give me graphic pics of the gender... so i really don´ t know!

yeah.. i do the prenatal yoga.. it is good for relaxing.. and even for back pain... but i find it a bit boring.. though i do it.. i find walking a better exercise :-)

hmm.. i do want to take a prenatal class... i badly need guidance on the baby..
we´ re moving to the UK in 5 days time... so i have to wait to see if i can find something there.

hmm.. patience and endurance..... will keep an eye for that... will tell u if i find one!

and enjoy shopping pink...
i for one am superstitious.. and am waiting it out until the 9th month.

BTW my aunt gave me a really valuable tip...
she said.. try and buy more neutral colors if u plan a second baby.. that was atleast if ur next baby is a girl.. u don´ t have to dress her up in blue and then explain to everyone that it´ s her brothers old clothes...
since baby clothes get small very soon.. and are almost new.. so u can save them for ur next baby!!!
i for one am going to follow that!

Thanks a lot for your wishes.. We are going to have an icecream bash :-) to enjoy this occassion. Well time to think of names now... What do you say?

Today' s U/s was so hilarious.. baby did not want to show her gender.. she had her legs twisted and refused to show for half an hour.. Finally after that long wait she started kicking and thats when we go to see :-).. may be she is stubborn like me :-)

Once again wish you all a very happy pregnancy..

yeah!! you could try.....
if it´ s a boy.. u will see a well defined penis....
if you don´ t.. it could be a girl... or a boy...

for me.. i did not pay too much attention to that.. as it was´ nt very clear.. and the doc told me anyway!!

but u could look at some ultrasound pics before urs....
i can suggest... there´ s one called ´ justmommies´ .. there on the sept DDc.. there is a separate forum for ultrasound pics... and in some of the 20 week pictures... they have clearly marked genders... so u can get an idea of what it looks like....

hi rose, congrats. Felt very nice to read your message. Though in india in my 20 week u/s which is n 1st week of may i am gonna try figure out the sex myself -) wht say...Just a try. My Sis says that if itz a boy, there are chances i can find out bcoz of their genital organs...If itz not there then it mite b a girl...hahahahaha...
