Hi everybody,
Got time today to go thru the forums...and topics. Seen my husband coping with changes, excitement and care during this time especially we being far from home..I am sure all of u experiencing it too..didn't see any dads in the forum or discussion about husbands. I tell my husband..this is fun time, with him also reading and trying to know more about whats happening, changes relationship seeing him so involved, asking questions to the nurse, doctor. Its worth being pregnant feeling kicks and growth of a baby...its an amazing experience, my husband is just in awe seeing the ultrasound..seen my friends husbands too going thru the change during their pregnancies, never thought my husband would be so emotional and involved...I am sure others must be experiencing same..Initially i must admit, i used to think my dad was very caring, guys no longer like that now...but everyone changes once we get adjusted to life here and marriage..its nice to share worries, fears, excitement and starting another joint responsibility with ur partner , a very imp..one too, isn't it??
Hope to hear ur experiences and stories of husbands during pregnancy time too...
I hope u all have a peaceful and fun pregnancy..
Be cheerful...bye
Radhika

Hi Radhika,
Yep,you r right.I used to think that my husband is very much caring for me only. But he never looks like grown up too much to become father.I thought it might take some time for him to get adapted to new role. But he started feeling the emotions for baby so soon...I am amazed. Not only he is helpful in each and every day of my pregnancy from the day one,he always talks about baby and it's shopping etc stuff now.He is taking care of me so well that I don't feel away from my parents anymore.Sometimes I forget that I am pregnant and start bending etc..then he scolds me with love and says take care of urself and baby..Now don't do this ,don't do that...HA!! So nice to hear all this from him....
I know he is not only good huby but also a caring father ...

Radhika ,it's good to share these feelings here..Specially when u r away from home..It's good u brought up this topic..

Enjoy ur pregnancy ...
Take care,
nikki

i always thought nick and nikki were the same person...just using short names..glad to hear about the good experiences with ur spouses...after all said and done, guess this generation guys really do try their best to be good partners and will be great dads too..I sometimes ask Praveen if he would be so thoughtful back home with my friends and his parents around to help me..maybe i just wouldn't see this side of him..(don't know maybe he would be the same..)
Anyway, hope everyone gets to enjoy the time together the next few months...later on we will be busy 24/7 taking care of the little one..have fun.
Radhika

HI
I am also very happy with my husband. He is the one for me here so far away from home and it feels great.
He doesn't allow me to drive, doesn't allow me to carry anything .Sometimes I feel he is spoiling me rotten!!But frankly I am loving every moment of it and I am so happy to be carrying his child.
