Hi girls,

I had my 36 weeks appt. today. I had the strep test done. Doctor said I am 2 cms dialated! but the cervix is thick. She said it is okay since it is my 2nd time, it is little earlier. She asked me to take it easy and not to drive too much. I was so tired since yesterday, not feeling very energetic till now, so she took my blood for thyroid check(i already take hypothyroid medicine since last pregnancy). I hv my u/s scheduled on 24th at the hospital to check baby' s growth since I hv hypothyroid. I had gained only 1 pound in 2 weeks. Hereon I will hv appt once every week.

Anyways my last day at work is 22nd, n my mom is coming here on 21st, so hoping to get good rest and food. I still hv to do everything else for baby' s arrival, hospital stay, find the right name, etc.

For Mamta, internal exam was very painful during my first pregnancy, this time it is not that painful. So just try to relax and tell the doc ahead that it pains too much for you so be more gentle. It is a stress to hv internal exams every week in the last month.

I' m glad everything is going on well with your pregnancy. Hat' s off to you second time moms,i cant imagine how you work,take care of your kid and home,while carrying another child and still be so positive and happy. It really inspires me,and all my complaints sound so silly and childish.
I hope and pray for your safe delivery.Im sure you will get a great deal of relief once your mother comes.

My parents will e here on 24th so looking forward to it. Thanks for your advice and yes i shud' ve probably told the doc beforehand to be gentle. I will make sure i tell her that next visit which is not too far ,in 3 days....gives me the jitters....
