Dear Archie and others,

Kindly explain the results of my hubby' s semen analysis. Is it normal?

Total Sperm Count: 86.5 million/ml of semen

Total Motility (30 min): 70
Total Motility (1 hr): 70
Total Motility (4 hrs): 30

Microscopic Findings:

About 60-70 sperms are normal adult morphology, 10 - 15 immature forms, 8-10 tailless, 3-5 pinheads

Pus Cells: 0-1/HPF
RBC: Nil
Epithalial Cells: 2-3/HPF
Trichomonas: Nil

Will I be able to conceive? Our sex life is normal and we are married for the past 6months. He is 27 and I am 24 yrs old. We are planning to start a family soon and it was his crazy idea to get his semen tested to see if it is normal.

Tomra sudhu sudhu eto chinta korcho .After trying for 12 months o jodi tumi concieve na karo then only u can think tht u two may have some prob. This is too early 2 predict anything .Morover u r too young .Just go on trying relaxdly .Berate jao ghora phera karo dekhbe concieve korbe. I replied 2 ur msg. b' coz the same happened 2 me .biyer 2 months parei amra doc er kache giyechilum .n doc told me 2 leave everything n 2 enjoy the life and 2 go to doctor after trying for 1 yr.and really after 8 months of my marriage i concieved .
