I am very very upset..I am 16 weeks pregnant.. and y' day while crossing road.. i fell down on my tummy... though it was not exactly my front.. but i fell down on left side of my tummy.. has got wounds on left hand and left knee..

I consulted my gynac immdly.. she checked heart beat and position of my baby.. it was normal but she said that she will take ultrasound after 48 hrs of accident, which will sure the pregnancy and any problems of there are...

I am feeling slight pain after 1-2 hrs in my abdomen... but no spotting and no severe pain...

Please tell me Is evrything normal... my ultrasound will be 2mrw and i am very upset due to this accident..

I hope there is no harm to my baby and he is absolutely fine..

Archie and all please advise urgently...
Hope you understand the mental pain i am going thru...

Everything will be ok

Hi Shalini,

I had to write after reading ur post.I fell on my belly while I was 37 weeks pregnant with my son.I was in another town while this happened & thought I would deliver right there on the road.I too had bruises on my palm & knee.I drank some water waited for movements & everything was fine.
I later delivered at 40 weeks & my son weighed nearly 9 lbs.The Ammneotic fluid really controlled the impact of the fall.If ur doc monitered u externally & if she said everything looks ok then u shouldn' t be worrying too much.Goodluck & have a safe pregnancy.
