Name: Shilu

Hi Friends,
I' am 27 yrs old ,it' s been 4 yrs am married. After wedding within 8-9 months I got pregnant, but that time circumtances was not strong so we abort a pregnancy.I had gone through non-surgical method ,doctor gave me some pills to insert in vigina and some I took orally.

After 6 months of my abrotion....i' am getting 3-4 days spotting before actully bleeding of every month and little iregularness in periods...so which day suppose to be fisrt day of cycle, spotting day or actual bleeding day.
Does all these things will affect to conceive.
I did check up this things with doctor...but doctor couldn' t get any wrong in ultrasound test.

Now from last 5 months we were trying to conceive,it' s 6th month...but still not getting success.I had gone through thyroid and all preconception test...by god' s sake every thing is normal.
I' am taking BBT too,but still could not find out exact fertile period in my cycle.I never thought we will take long time to conceive, little bit fustrated...regreating about past.
I' am just worrying about my past, does my abortion will affect on coceiving?
Does anybody has gone through such tough time.

Please share ur experinces. Now a days I' am totally fustrated...cann' t share my problem with any body.I cann' t stop thinking about baby.

Dear Shilu,
Having a previous abortion shouldn' t have an impact on getting pregnant again - as long as it was done safely and healthily. I believe that some spotting and bleeding afterwards is normal for a while until your body returns to normal - you should ask your doctor about that. Don' t punish yourself or get too worried, just keep trying - it just takes time as they all say...

I too have 2-3 days of light spotting before period and it is not unusual /abnormal.

Please count Day one of your cycle from the day your actual period starts (bright red bloog) and do not count the spotting days. Hope this makes it easier for you to count your cycle days.
WIshing you luck!
