Due Date Club December 2004:tough time

My son is not still sleeping throughout night. He sleeps well sometimes but most of the times not. Weather here now in bombay is really good. So we switch of the AC and keep the window open. At night it becomes cold but this fellow does not want anything over him. As i put quilt over him he gets up . I really get confused as he is feeling cold or hot? Anyone having the same problem?

I am travelling to my Mom's place on 25th dec. with my two kids thogh the flight is of one hour I am little afraid . As he is little hyper side. Its just not possible to hold him if he wants to get down. And i can not think of sitting at one place with him. But all u moms travelling from usa to india r my inspiration. so pl. wish me for my trip on 25th.

Well i am in Calcutta where the climate is similar to that of Mumbai.I know its not very cold in Mumbai so the best alternative to sweater is full sleeves T shirts made of flannel and similar pyjamas to go with that. cc replied. Thats right Shivani. Its for pain.. You need to give before takeoff & landing cuz of the air preassure. Sometimes it hurt so much because of air preassure that kids get cranky for the rest of their flight. I travelled twise to India and I always gave a dose od tylnol (for pain) and benadryl (for drowsyness). its totally safe cuz you are not giving everyday.. its just for one or 2 times most. cc replied. Im not sure if spell it right but you can give 2 spoons to even an infant and they will sleep good. when I was in India my baby got sick and that what doc told me to give. it prevent vomit & make them sleepy. obviously ask your doc first.

And in the plane ask for a bassinett 1-2 days before you go and try to go early and tell them again for bassinett. you will have a peaceful journey.

Similar Prob

Well I too have a similar problem.My son does the same so i put him in winter clothes i.e sweater,leggies and socks with a cotton cap.That keeps him comfy so even if the quilt is out,baby is safe.Try this.

cc , phenargan is a sedative and should avoid as much as u can. we gen give if the baby is in pain or something.

Deepti , he does not like to wear even full sleeve . U know here in bombay its not that cold like USA. But i will try all these at my mother's place . Its very cold there.

seems everyone is busy ,busy alot. For me too life is hactic. But i do not forget to take a break in between either a movie or party or go out on weekends. Last 15 days i had all.
