Name: Nats Hope all u ladies are fine. i am good. went for my checkup on the 21st. the doc was good. finally i got to hear my baby' s little heart beat and i also seen my baby' s tiny face. and u know what, when the doc was moving the stick, it seems like my baby startled. i felt really happy and excited when i seen baby. God willingly all goes well, this little miracle and wonder, i will cuddle and kiss in a few months.
the doc advised me to take a down syndrome test for baby. if baby is abnormal we will know now itself. so this evening i am going for the test. i am very worried and anxious... i have a cousin who is mentally retarded. but this happened becoz my aunt got pregnant while she was on birth control pills. when i spoke to a friend about this she said if everything is alright well and good. but if baby is abnormal then the doc will give me an option to keep the baby or give it up. i cant even imagine such a thing happening....
Well, i really hope and pray baby is perfectly alright. GOD' S WILL BE DONE...

Hi Nats,

well, it is really nice to hear tht allz well with u and the lil angel....but believe u me, nvr have negetive thots even cross ur mind....y on the very first reaction did u think of giving up the baby.....I am sure allz gonna b happy and fine after u get the test reports...My Good wishes.....take care n do share the report.

congrats on ur pregnancy. well, to make it quite clear i never thought of giving up the baby. infact when the doc told me about this test, first thing that came to my mind was 99% everything is gonna be alright. but then i thought if anything should happen then the doc will clear any thing that is abnormal. i didnt even ask the doc what happens next if anything should go wrong becoz my immediate thinking was she will do whatever necessary to save baby. then i was told by a friend that the options were the other way around. which really shocked me. this baby is already as precious as my first little girl. i couldnt think of such a thing....and as i said before i have a cousin who is abnormal, the challenges she faces is really heartaching to see...
anyways, i went for the test on the 24th and it will take 2 weeks for the result to come. but i had a wonderful time seeing baby on the screen for a long time.
i was not keepin well for a few days. i had a blocked nose, headache and had fever too. feeling much better now.
Ok lovely ladies, hope all are well. keep in touch. Wishing U all a Happy and Blest New Year 2009....

I' m 7 months pregnant and my ultrasound shows clubfoot on the right leg for my baby. I' m very much worried. this is my first baby after 2 miscarriages....My doctor also said that it can be corrected after the childs birth...
