Due Date Club December 2004:moving a lot while sleeping
2005-11-16
Name: rani

Hi,
My baby moves a lot in sleep every 15 min or so. I tried with so many ideas like making her sleep with full stomach, and half etc.. but it didn't help. She got 6 teeth . Any one's baby is like this? I tried to feed her whenever she gets up, that is also not helpful. Any suggestions.

Babies are trying new activities now like crawling, standing, etc. They try to practise them while sleeping too in subconscious level. Thatz the reason for their restlesss sleep. It is very normal so don't worry. If baby doesn't cry, you don't hv to calm him/her down by feeding. It is a phase for them and will pass soon.

My son does this too. He keeps tossing & turning even while asleep. I too worry that he is not getting sound sleep. Sometimes giving him a pacifier works. Make sure he is not hungry, too warm or cold.
