My son is 15 months old. since 3 weeks back he has suddenly started acting strange just before bed time. He will seat on the bed and stare in one place for long and laugh, flap his hands near his ears or eyes, suddenly giggle, change his seating postion from one place to another. He waits for us to go to bed which is round 12 and then he acts strange for another one hour or two but not always. this strange behaviour is also repeated if he gets up early round 6 am. during the day he is a perfectly normal child. I am really concerned and would appreciate advise on his matter. Sylvia replied. Do not let your child stare by himself. Try to get his attention by encouraging him to play with you. Buy bedtime story books with pictures and read it aloud to him. Keep him close to you and do not let his thoughts wander. Keep him engaged with interesting play things, ryhmes, stories etc and give him a lot of attention.
