Waiting to try:any issues if ttc when husband is on antibiotics
2006-12-11
Name: pratheeksha

My husband recently had a severe bout of flu and throatache and is on antibiotics. Is there any issue if we try for a baby at this time, since he is on medicines. Or should we wait till next month when his course of medicines will be over. Please advise?

Prateeksha,
No need to do any more \" prateeksha\" for ttc because your spouse is on antibiotics.
Normally, for some infertile couples treating with antibiotics actually helps to improve fertility.
I think you should not take break and go ahead with it. Though chances are slim because he is not well and due to which his sperm count might affect but not due to antibiotics. Try to avoid intercourse until you finish first 10 days of cycle and try from CD11 till CD16th if cycle is between 28-31 days.
