Hello everybody

I have been reading everyone' s updates. It was nice talking to Rama on the phone. Would have been even better if we had met but time just didn' t permit it.

I am still in Chennai. This trip has been good.Two months is a reasonably long time. Vedant and Vishak had a good time though Vedant has started feeling a little home/ school sick now. Vishak is really \" talking\" a lot.Has six teeth. He has been really spoilt by all the attention.

We are celebrating his first birthday in the traditional way on Sep 6 and then flying back to Canada that night.His actual birthday falls on Sep 16. Once we are back on home turf, we have to start packing and move to the new house by this month end. Vedant' s school has re-opened and we have to get back into that routine as well.So, a lot of work in the cards.

I will post photos when I get the opportunity.

Monika: How are you all doing? Haven' t seen any snaps recently.

Sunitha: How are the kids doing? Divyesh must be close to 4 months old now. Any snaps to share?

Veena: Any developments on your side? Wish you a safe delivery. Keep us posted.

Rama: Saw the photos. Very nice.

Monika - u r truely the modern woman balancing a career and home....how do u manage the travel? do ur in laws take care of Ansh those times?
My update - divyesh is 4 months..i have fixed a day cae for both dev and div together from nov. Mom leaves on nov 6th and then I' m gng to check out how it will be to manage alone..My busy season starts in jan and i am planning to get mom again in feb. I' m not sure though how that will work esp with immigration issues that are presently not very favorable. Let' s see. Other wise work, home and kids keep me on my toes...
Sorry for making this real crisp. Hope to write in detail soon...Shall post pics too.

We are fine here. Ansh is going to school & liking it on most days...lol. I am busy with work. Lots of travelling coming up for me this month. I have to go to China shortly for work & then come bcak & go to Bangalore for 10 days. It' s going to be hectic.
August just flew by with Rakhi & Janmashtami.

Advance B' day wishes to Vishak. So where do you plan to celebrate the first b' day? Leaving on the same day would be little hectic isnt?

As you said, two months is a quite long time to stay in India. By the end of the first month itself children start getting bored. I had experienced this until I took up a job. I and aditi will be left alone as karthik would leave after a month' s time. I think you would have been occupied with house work, as you had been in India for festivals like nombu, janmaashtami, ganesh charthurthi, etc.

While going back you may not have much trouble, as Mahesh will be with you. It must be strenuous journey. My co-siz told that at Brussels, the authorities didnt allow her to take even the baby food inside. It seems they threw away everything (all food items she had carried) Children managed to have only juice provided inside. She also flew by Jet Airways.
Just a word of caution.

This time, after 10-15 days of our stay in India Aditi also wanted to go back to Dubai, eventhough she had company to play. Children think alike.

You have loads of work to do when you are back. All the best :)
