dear vidhya u can give milk mixed with little amt of water. why dont u try some rice kanji. just fry idli rice measure of one cup and roasted channa 3/4 cup 1/4 ragi...just fry in a pan till it becomes brown and just grind to a nice powder and prepare kanji and try to give ur child...
u have to take two spoons of the kanji powder as per the above prep and 1/2 spoon of sugar. take one glass of water and boil the kanji powder with sugar for 3 min. then try to give the baby for feeding she will definitely like this. even i had the same problem with my boy baby i tried it gave me good result.
u just give a try.

cheers

hai!!
try her giving NATURE VALLEY(honey oats) energy bars..it tastes like our indian kadalai mittai(groundnut chocolate).its full of nutrition.even kids who dodnt eat well like them.
everyday one bar is a gr88 thing for her health..
as u r in US u can getit anywhere.
try giving her sour cream yogurt.kids love tht too..
instead of giving her veggie, ttry giving her gerber fruit sauces.mangois loved by mostly all kids, apple sauce is my 7 month old's favourite...
veggie is something every kid hates(qas its not sweet but only bland)..
get parle-g biscuits, mix it with milk and freed her.i believe she will love it.its good for health too and gives a variety to her meals too.
u said she is 8 months old.u can make idlis and mash it with milk, instead of adding sugar u can use tinge of glucose powder.in milk also ucan do tht..
give it a try..
regards
tm !!

Hi Vidhya,
Yes u can give boiled milk & sugar.
She may be teething and maybe that would be the reason she's not eating properly.
Try Raagi porrodge, Khichidi, Kerela Bananas etc...
Take care
Swati

So my sister’s child is a very fussy eater. She generally makes veggie cheese rolls or sandwiches to get her to eat her vegetables. She tries to use colourful and pretty veggies to get her to eat. Giving smoothies, fruit salads and milkshakes is another appetizing and attractive method.
