Hi Archie,

Writing after lonnnngggg!!! (I am not sure if you still remember me)
First of all thank you so much for all the help throughout the pregnancy. As I guess Pallav had informed that I had been blessed with a baby girl on 22nd November. I had to go for a C- Section after 6 hours of strong labour coz the baby´ s head did not get fixed & there was just 1.5 finger dilation. I was having mild pains since last 3 days & after an ultrasound the doc decided to induce labour as there was some good amount of calcification in the placenta. Had strong contractions for 6 hours without any results hence had to go for a C-Section. Wanted to write after that but had to go through a series of Mastitis infections in both the breasts for 2 months :(. Finally the doc asked me to wean the baby...coz the supply had as such gone low due to the infection & as & when I had tried to increase the supply post infection by feeding the baby more frequently, there used to be engorgement & the infection would recur...
Well but I did not wean her completely. She is on lactogen but i do feed her few times in a day just for her satisfaction. 2 months of high fever had broken me down completely :(.It really hurts that I have not been able to feed the baby...but...well I really tried inspite of all the pain & all. Touchwood the baby was able to accept the lactogen...have heard of some babies who dont take it all...just 1 regret...it somehow feels that the baby has not bonded that well with me as I have seen other babies bonding with their moms...partly maybe because I couldnt feed her & also I couldnt pay much attention during the initial 2 months :(. Any chance that I´ ll be able to bond with her like other mom´ s?
