Hmmm ... well i jsut forgot to mention, how much i love these ice creams. I have flavor of the day stock in my refrigerator, and my hubby is cho chweet he keeps a track of it, as he feels i might feel like having the middle of the night ..... then?
The oter day is was watching TV and there came Mc donalds ad, and yeah i was craving for a their burger like crazy .... i cud not stop thinking about it until i actually went and had it. but u r right, we cannot have that much as it is junk food and only satisfies our taste buds but provide no nutrition to our baby.... :(

Yes, if the weather there is so warm i highly recommend u to include yoghurt and buter milk in ur diet every singel day, it will help u cool down the system.
I also avoid eggs, as he temperature in dubai is also more or less the same. but at the same time i am otherwise not a meat eater, so if u r u shud avoid having red meat as that is also very heaty.
Avoid too much spicy cause they say it is not good for hte baby and also some pregnant women tend to get piles if taken too much spicy food.
Dates - they are alright only upto two a day, although they are heaty but they help help providing haemoglobin to your blood. I have two of them every day.
but remember above all, please compensate with foods that helps to cool ur system, also consider having lots of fresh fruits and tender coconug like others said.
Take care :)

I had my glucose test 2 weeks back. All went well. I heard it can be changed any time in pregnancy (depends on your metobolisum). So we better be carefull and watch on sugars.

Sorry to hear that you don' t get there. Yes we get lot of fresh coconut here in Dallas, tx. I am taking one per day. To replace this, I guess you can take subja(this is telugu word, not sure what you call them in enlight/hindhi) seeds in water with lemon.

I m in my 25th week and even I ve back pain, which runs down to my lower back and down under...This kind of pain with excessive white discharge is a cause for worry..Otherwise its absolutely fine...Its just because of the baby position. The baby weight puts pressure on u r joint muscles and thus the pain. I consulted my doc for the same and he said there is no remedy for the same and u can just control it by a few exercises.....and take lot of rest.
Take care and enjoy!!!

Dear dear dear,
hmm.... to many things at a time ... huh?
well, i don' t know much about sugar levels, but i crave for ice creams a lot and i have recently become a regular customer of Baskin robbins ) ... i lvoe their ice creams .... hmmm simply so rich.
Let' s come back to the point, Eggs - I have read in several pregnancy books and also on net that eggs are really good for pregnant woman especially that organic brown ones, they are good source or protien. But at hte same time they are very heaty, as in gives heat to the body and as i am in Dubai these days, not a good idea to have too much of them. Similarly, i think u will ahve to consider ur other eating habits, liek i have too many mangoes these days, so i totally avoid eggs as they both are heaty, i compensate it with butter milk, chilled milk, yoghurt, etc.
2 per week is well within the limit, infact if u are craving too much for it, i really don' t see a problem why u cannot have a bit more than two, jsut that to compensate on the fat part, avoid having too much fatty foods. Don' t use butter and cheese, eat with brown bread and have skimmed milk instead of full fat. i guess it shud be alright then, however, please to check with soem experienced women around, as for me also it' s a first pregnancy.
Amla - they are very rich in Vitamin C and i don' t see any problem in having them too, however, again, check with Dr. as too much of iron consumption can hinder calcium absorption by the body.
Pain in the back, right down to the leg- I have heard women do get Siatica pains during pregnancy, do a google search on this one, it might help and ask dr. This pain is due to a nerver that is pressed in the back, hence back pains and also the leg, as hte same nerve is the one that passes thru back and ends at the foot. THis can be caused sue to slip disk also. Please check with the dr. on this one, as it cna get worse.
I hope this helped, wish u all the best.
Take care of the two of u :)
