Hi

How are your little toddllers doing? I am sure learning fast & getting naughtier day by day. Can u share the development stat of ur kids at 18 months? Nitya has her appointment on may 3rd. In last 6 months she has gained less than 2 pounds weight. It gets slower in 2nd year, but i was just wondering if this is same with our kids. her height looks fine to me, but will get actual figures at her appointment. I am making a list of words she can speak for her doc, he likes to note down everything.... i will share it with you soon. She is saying & pointing her body parts, and then mine & dad's too... its great fun.

Love to all kids
Manisha

Hi
Manisha-Good to hear about Nitya. How is this trimester for you?Wow she can talk quite a lot.Ayush is not too much into talking and Radhika we also have the same problem. He hears English at daycare and Bengali at home.
Most of the time he speaks in his own baby language.
He is very restless and like Radhika said about Anu,Ayush runs. Now he has no time to walk :-) and he seems to be the busiest person in our home.He can reach everywhere dragging chairs and climbing. He can open pretty much everything now. When we show him our photos he can identify us.
But other than that he has those two year old tantrums already.

Love to the babies.
Sushmita

Glad to know u r feeling better this trimester..its already 3 months!..how time flies.
fun seeing kids play outside isn't it. Anu doesn't like to come in, i carry her wailing back at 6..thats after work hours and playign for an hour outside..add to it play at day care, everyday spoils her clothes with dirt.
Development - anu understands what we say and yes knows nose/belly button in our language. She understands more than what she says, maybe becoz of different languages home and day care. knows every word i say and twinkle twinkle actions and some other songs we sing. marches with her obne foot high..so going anywhere its a march all of us left left left right left..funny to see her. speaks her own language more often..points to things..think speakign for anu may take time becoz of english and we speak hindi/malayalam at home at times marathi.though with her i force to stick to one.
all i can say is she is in a hurry everywhere run run run...no stopping her. hopefully i lose weight too, haven't yet. she has lost wt too. must be 21/22 pounds not sure, she stands on the weighing scale herself..so try to see. was same at 15 months..if not more. her chart is going down, height going up. but its ok, she is not fussy about food, just learning to throw tantrums we have to really try to divert her attn.tough age for them where they can touch and reach things and not know limits. but its fun to watch them learn isn't it?
Take care manisha..hope u upload ur ultrasound pic too..will u find out if its boy/girl? must be fun hearng heartbeat too..take care.
Radhika
