hi iam uma my i finished college in may this year my lover had a vow to shave both of our head iam so tensed pls suggest that shall i agree to shave or not

Dear Uma, Just say ´ no´ to tonsure before marriage. Tell him that you will be willing to do so a few weeks after marriage (i.e., marriage, consummation, registration and preferably telling your parents about the marriage). Be firm on this.

Dear Uma, first get married and probably a kid. If he is serious abut you and he really loves you, he will raise the tonsure issue after marriage and a kid also. If you do it before marriage trusting him, you are likely to return home minus hair AND minus your ' lover' and no one else to love a ' bald' you for another three years. And he will be laughing in his sleeve for having rendered a nice girl bald.

And with whose permission did he vow ' your' hair? It is allright for mothers and mother-in-laws to vow their daughter' s or daughter-in-law' s hair without her permission. But not for a lover.
