Hi guys, hope everyone is doing great along with your little ones. Savir had his second round of cold cough/chest congestion followed by ear infection. He is taking strong dosage of amoxicillin and is in nebulizer. Anyways, I have put a stop for potty training. From last week he started telling su su whenever he does potty in his diaper. I was surprised. Whenever he pees in his diaper, he says su su, but not often. From today morning I started using pull -ups. He said twice, is it true that they could feel while peeing when they wear pull-ups? Either way he atleast sits in the potty seat for couple of minutes and I don' t want to put him for a long time. He doesn' t do potty in the potty seat. He hides behind the couch and does. Still I am trying to figure out how to train him. Lets see. I just want some tips from you all. Thanks and love to all your little ones.

Hi Smile, nice to see your msg. I am checking this board after a long time. Looks like everyone is very busy with their lives and so no one is replying these days.. anyways...
I hope Savir gets well soon. How is he doing now? What all is he doing these days? Dont worry much abt potty training, I think most of the kids in this board, and my friends kids of same age, are not yet fully potty trained. In couple of months, he will learn it easily.
I am also taking it easy and keep trying in between. And slowly she is getting hang of it. She knows that she is supposed to pee/poo on her potty seat. Sometimes when she pees/poos, she tells me and goes and sits on her potty seat (with her diaper). But the hurdle is that she does so mostly after doing it.. I read somewhere that its difficult for kids to relax their bladder muscles to do pee and so am giving her some time. One important thing to remember is not to make your child feel pressurised abt it. As long as thats not the case, keep trying in between. Unless if you are in a hurry for something.. If pull - ups are working for him, then its great. Some kids learn faster if you leave them bare bottom. Or else, you can let him wear only his pajama and underwear and no diapers. Or you can make him sit on the seat with his diaper on but a small hole beneath. It depends on what is making him not go for it. Is he scared? or is he not understanding the concept? or does he not recognize when he does pee/poo? or is he simply not ready?..
chalo take care,
love to Savir..

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
